Sealing washers are for a positive seal of the shoulder of a fitting and the locknut to the opening in an enclosure or box. Install BETWEEN the locknut and outside entry of your enclosure. It provides a liquid tight seal against water and oil. Precisely designed and uniformly molded assures proper installation.
It will provide a NEMA or IP rating in wet locations on rated enclosures. Consult the code for proper rating with the conduit and enclosure you are installing. The PVC gasket is UV Rated for outdoor use.
SW Series can be readily used with AMFICO Cord Grips, Rigid, and Liquid Tight Fittings,
when combined with our Locknuts you can be assured of an environmental seal and
establish a NEMA rating with the appropriate enclosure.
